Background.
Vela OS (usevela.framer.ai) is a complete launch system I designed and built in Framer for early-stage founders — then packaged as a premium template anyone can buy and ship the same day. The premise is simple: launch before your product is ready. Capture demand, build in public, and look credible from day one.
The problem.
Founders lose momentum in the gap between idea and launch. They need a credible, conversion-ready web presence to capture early demand — a waitlist, a public roadmap, a blog to build in public — but stitching that together from scratch (or from generic templates that fall apart past the hero) costs weeks they don't have. Vela had to feel like a real, shipped product out of the box, not a placeholder.
The Approach
I designed Vela as one cohesive dark-mode system — premium, consistent, and built to convert from the first scroll. Syne paired with Plus Jakarta Sans sets a confident, modern tone, and a fluid liquid-button interaction on the hero CTA makes the launch moment feel tactile and memorable. The hero also supports a drop-in animated background — video or image — so each founder can make it their own without touching the design.
